As June comes to a close, we wanted to take a moment to share with you why celebrating Pride this month meant so much to the Garnish Team. Last year we introduced our All Colors Campaign, which states that we welcome and value diversity and inclusion within our studio.
We take great pride in being a diverse team that welcomes everyone who walks through our door no matter their race, religion, political views, gender identity, or who they love.
Each year in June cities and states all around America celebrate Pride for the LGBT+ Community. It’s a celebration, but also a recognition of the community’s fight for acceptance. We place a lot of value on having a space that is inclusive and accepting of everyone.
For this reason, we wanted to take a day during this month of June to outwardly express those values to our LGBT community members who come into Garnish as both team members and guests.
This year, for the first time, North Carolina chose to recognize Pride month as an official celebration. We are proud to be a part of the positive change within our state.
