The “Coolest” Hair Trends for Fall 2015 Unveiled!
It’s that time of year when we all long for cooler weather and embrace the beauty of the Autumn foliage. Time to say bye-bye to the beach hair and hello to richer fall hair colors and the trendiest hair styles. The Garnish team has put together some inspiration for just for you!
What’s “Cool” for Color
Fall always beckons deeper, warmer shades. So no matter what color you are now, you’ve got lots of great options to choose from to give your hair that Autumn flair.
Blondes: Warmer blonde shades range from creamy vanilla blonde to golden “bronde.” “Bronde” is a combo of brown and blonde, we are seeing celebrities like Chrissy Teigen rocking this cool color right now. Garnish stylist, Tish Cotton recently gave her client a gorgeous, Beyoncé inspired honey blonde shade along with a keratin treatment.
Reds: From the lighter shades of the red family we are seeing lots of champagne red and strawberry gold. But for the darker reds, cinnamon and copper colors are the ticket. Celeb Bryce Dallas Howard has been showing off her cinnamon waves. Tish Cotton gave this beauty a perfect red color for fall.
Brunettes: This fall brunettes have lots of choices for color! With cooler shades like chestnut, or warmer shades of light to medium brown, and even reddish-browns there’s a shade for everyone. Our current favorite though is a rich chocolate brown with golden highlights. Celeb Jenna Ushkowitz has been flaunting her multidimensional locks. Our own Christine Woods gave one of her clients this pretty warm brown with golden highlights.
Black: Warm black makes for a great choice for fair skinned and dark skin tones. This shade is a little less intense than pure black. This is Kim Kardashian’s signature shade. Christine Woods hit the mark yet again with this client’s warm black color.
What’s “Cool” for Cuts
Fall 2015 has lots of fun options for every hair length and texture.
Bobs: Plenty of ladies are loving the shoulder length bob with lots of layers. This is a great style for women of all ages. Jennifer Lopez’s style is a favorite for many. For a shorter bob we are seeing more asymmetrical cuts like Rachel McAdams’. The “Lob” (long bob) is a Tinsel Town favorite. This above the shoulder length is timeless but also super trendy right now. Taylor Swift’s Lob is super cute and her added bangs give her style a bit of a modern messy twist.Tish Cotton gave her client a beautiful long bob that we are loving!
Pixies: Pixies are still a big hit. Even though your hair is shorter you got some really great options. A piecey pixie like Lily Collins’ is adorable. For the gal who wants something a little more fun, you can opt for more texture on top to get that rock and roll tousled look like Kate Mara. Andrayah Ponce rocked this pixie cut that looks super cute on her client.
Long Locks: Chunky layers with a slightly uneven cut, or longer layers are giving gals a little more body and volume like Suki Waterhouse’s style. For a sleeker look, the razored trim like Emily Ratajkowski’s hair is great for anyone looking for a piecer long look. Once again, our own Tish Cotton hit the mark by transforming her client’s hair giving her long layers that added lots of volume!
