All Black Lives more than Matter!

Garnish’s foundation, upon which everything else has been built, has always been our values. Diversity and inclusion top that list, and from day one we have strived to create a safe and comfortable space for anyone who walked in our doors.

In 2017, we wrote out these values in a statement we called, “The All Colors Campaign.” The original statement read,

“Our studio has been built on the values of diversity and inclusion, and through this campaign we hope to share the message that we welcome everyone to Garnish. No matter your race or religion, gender identity or politics, whether you were born here or immigrated to America from somewhere else in the world, we welcome the opportunity to become your salon—a place where you feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful.”

This statement is something we live out every day. It’s a part of our hiring practice, it’s a part of our team, it’s who we are. Our team has always been made up of a diverse group of humans who have come together over a love of hair and passion for changing lives. Hair is an incredibly personal thing for many women, and it’s our goal to provide a safe and comfortable space for our guests to bring us their most sensitive hair concerns.

Whether it be hair loss or thinning, having been told they couldn’t wear extensions due to their hair texture, or just not feeling at home in a salon. We know firsthand that the salon industry is not always inclusive for different hair types and textures. It’s one of the reasons why we’ve made it a point to work with ALL textures of hair extensions. We believe everyone deserves to have the hair of their dreams.

In light of recent events, we wanted to revisit our All Colors Campaign to ensure that not only do we discuss diversity, but we boldy state that Garnish believes All Black Lives more than Matter.

Our studio has always believed and practiced this, but we also believe it’s important to speak up for our values. Every voice makes a difference, and we are adding our voice to this very important message.

Here at Garnish, you are accepted. You are seen. You are worthy. And you belong. Exactly as you are, no matter what.

We welcome the opportunity to serve you🌿
